Formulation Tips

Use as the primary base in lip gloss formulations — simply heat gently to 60–70°C, add pigments, pearls, or oil-soluble actives, mix thoroughly, and pour into tubes or pots. For tinted formulations, pre-disperse pigments in a small amount of Castor Oil or Isononyl Isononanoate before incorporating into the Covagloss base for the most uniform color payoff. To adjust viscosity, blend with additional Polybutene (for more body) or light esters (for a thinner, more fluid texture). Compatible with most cosmetic pigments, micas, lip-safe colorants, and oil-soluble actives. Store at room temperature away from direct heat and sunlight.
