Formulation Tips

Add to the oil phase and heat to 70–75°C with other wax-phase ingredients before combining with the heated water phase — the paste form softens and melts readily at these temperatures. For enhanced emulsion stability, combine with Cetearyl Alcohol as a co-emulsifier to build a more robust lamellar emulsifier system. Ceteareth-12 can also be used alongside Ceteareth-10 in blended emulsifier systems to fine-tune HLB and texture. Compatible with most cosmetic actives, humectants, and preservative systems.
